Vertex Arts UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG, Reginharstr. 1, 51429 Bergisch Gladbach, Germany (henceforth “Vertex Arts”, “We”, “we”, “us” or “our”), take protection of data privacy very serious. This Privacy Policy (henceforth “Policy”) informs our users (“users”, “your” or “you”) of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information we receive from users of our products, websites or any other of our services.

Personal data (also called personal information) is any recorded information about an identified or identifiable individual, such as a person’s name, postal address or e-mail address.

Vertex Arts uses information, including personal information, that you provide or we collect to provide and enhance the Service, to improve our games and related services, and to gather broad demographic information that does not personally identify you. We may use the information we collect (a) to contact you about your use of the Service, such as for administrative purposes or to provide you with customer service; (b) to fulfill or respond to your requests, to process transactions, and to send you the communications you requested; (c) to notify you about important changes to our policies or Service, (d) to contact you regarding new and existing Digital Chocolate features, products and services, and special Digital Chocolate offers, promotions and events that we think you may find interesting and for other internal marketing, informational, product development and promotional purposes; (e) to request feedback and to improve the Service and our product and service offerings, and develop new products and services; and (f) to provide product support.
You can request the deletion of your personal information at any time (see “Right of Withdrawal”).

Cookies

All our websites use “cookies” which are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies are used to either identify you as a returning user or improve the experience on our Services. You can configure your browser to disable the usage of cookies.

Personal Information Transfer to Third Parties

We do not transfer personal information to third parties without your confirmation. Right of Withdrawal

You can cancel your agreement to collect, store or use your personal information by contacting us via email (info@vertexarts.com). If you wish to cancel your newsletter subscription please provide us with your email you used to subscribe to our newsletter. You can also cancel your newsletter subscription via the “unsubscribe” link provided in our newsletters.

Use of Google Analytics

All of our websites use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies“, which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the websites. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our websites is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on our websites, your IP address will be truncated by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Functions of the service X (formerly Twitter) are integrated into our websites. This service is operated by X Corp. with headquarters in the United States of America. For persons residing in Europe, the X International Unlimited Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 D02 AX07, Ireland, is responsible for data processing.
By using X and the X functions integrated into our websites (such as the „Share“ function or the display of X content), the websites you visit are linked to your X account and may be made known to other users. Data is also transmitted to X in the process. We would like to point out:
